From Dubai with love: Send heartfelt messages to your mother across the globe

Be proud and tell the world how much you love your mother at special booths in City Centre Deira and City Centre Mirdif from March 19th to 21st.
A video message box will be set up at City Centre Deira, and City Centre Mirdif and mall visitors can send their moms gift of love with their heartfelt messages. The video will then be uploaded on Facebook and can be sent directly to their mothers. Friends can also vote for the video and the top 20 messages with most likes can win an AED 1000 Gift Voucher for their mother.
“In celebration of Mother’s Day, we would like to give our guests the opportunity to express their gratitude, love and admiration to their mothers,” said Majed Al Fahim, Senior Mall Manager at City Centre Deira.
In addition to showing appreciation, City Centre Mirdif is hosting a series of activities over the weekend, perfect for mother and child bonding and quality time.
On March 20 and 21, edutainment centre Little Explorers will transform into an art gallery. Children from 2 to7 years old will be encouraged to mould clay sculptures in a workshop with the help of a professional clay artist, and masterpieces will be displayed at the ‘Museum of Mums.’
Mothers can take their school-age children to take part in ‘Trashion’ - a thrilling event part of City Centre Mirdif’s Spring/Summer fashion campaign nurturing the next generation’s inkling for design, as well as instilling love for nature. Talented kids will be invited to showcase their artistic talents and sense of style by designing a garment using recyclable materials. The selected participants will have the opportunity to present their work on the City Centre’s Mirdif runway on March 20 and the top three young designers will be rewarded with cash prizes worth AED 5000 for the first place, AED 3000 for the second place, and AED 2000 for the third place.
