Dubai, UAE – 5 June 2013 – Garfield, one of the world’s most well-known and lovable cats, is making his Dubai Summer Surprises debut at Mirdif City Centre this Friday, June 7^th. Families are encouraged to participate in the live musical celebration, during which Garfield will throw his own birthday party. The ‘Happy Birthday to Me’ stage show brings Garfield, Jon, Odie and the entire gang to life in a charming and family-friendly show.

Garfield will perform at Mirdif City Centre from June 7^th - June13^th with three shows daily at: 4:15pm, 5:30pm and 7:30pm.  He and his friends will then head to City Centre Deira from June 18^th to 24^th to amuse families with shows at 4:15pm, 5:30pm and 7:30pm as well. Don’t miss your chance to enjoy the hilarious and endearing performance from Garfield the cat!

Additional roaming entertainment will also take place throughout Dubai Summer Surprises to keep families entertained all month long. Until July 7^th, shoppers visiting Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira or Mirdif City Centre can enter to win the weekly draw of AED 250,000 by spending AED 300 at any store inside any of the three malls.
