Shamma Hamdan makes first donation to ‘Make a Difference This Ramadan’ Charity Campaign
Dubai, UAE, 14 July 2013 – Celebrity ambassador Shamma Hamdan made the first donation to the ‘Make a Difference this Ramadan’ campaign to officially launch the Majid Al Futtaim Properties annual charity.
Now in its 7th year, the initiative encourages shoppers to give back during Ramadan by donating gently used or new items to those less fortunate in the community.
As ambassador, Shamma Hamdan is encouraging the community to participate in this important initiative. Throughout Ramadan, special collection boxes will be in key areas of the malls, encouraging shoppers to donate any of four essential items: clothing, books, reading glasses and mobile phones. All collected items in the UAE will be given to the Red Crescent to be distributed to families’ in-need.
